How the job runs

  1. 01

    Stop the water

    First job is always to isolate the supply. If you can find your stopcock before we arrive, turning it off buys everything time and limits the damage.

  2. 02

    Find the actual source

    Water travels along joists and reappears a long way from where it started. The visible damage is a symptom. We trace it back to the source and open up there.

  3. 03

    Repair and test

    The repair gets pressure-tested before anything is closed up, so you're not finding out it failed a week later.

Questions we get asked

Do you really answer at night?
Yes. Emergency callout runs 24 hours, including Sundays and bank holidays. Ordinary bookings are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
What should I do before you arrive?
Turn the water off at the stopcock, usually under the kitchen sink or near the front door. If water is anywhere near light fittings or sockets, turn the electricity off at the consumer unit too.
Will you have to pull up my floor?
Only as much as it takes to reach the fault. We trace it first precisely so we can lift two boards instead of a room.
