How the job runs

Check the supply
The existing gas point and pipework get checked for size and condition first. An undersized supply starves the appliance, and it's better found before the hob is in.

Install and test
Fitted, connected, and tightness-tested. Burner pressure gets set to the manufacturer's figure before we leave.

Leave the paperwork
Installation records issued digitally, which you'll want if you ever sell or let the property.

Questions we get asked
- Can I install a gas hob myself?
- No. Any work on gas pipework or appliances must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. It's a legal requirement, and doing it yourself invalidates your insurance.
- Can you move the gas point for a new kitchen?
- Yes. Relocating a gas supply is routine work, and it's much easier to do before the units go in than after.
- Do you take the old appliance away?
- We can disconnect and make safe. Tell us when you book if you want the old one removing, so we bring the right van space.
